YOU Made It Catering
Our mandate is to provide a great quality product using the freshest available ingredients while imparting valuable workplace skills to the youth we train in both food preparation and customer service. We strive to support local businesses though our purchasing practices.
Our kitchen is available for catering on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. For evening events, such as cocktail receptions, we will extend our hours to accommodate your requirements. We provide service staff, rental dishes, linen, and glassware should these be required.

Youth employed in the YOU Made It program acquire a number of health and safety certificates before they enter the kitchen. Among these are Safe Food Handling, First Aid and Health and Safety. During their contract with Youth Opportunities Unlimited, the youth have an opportunity to obtain their Smart Serve certificate. Participants in our culinary program also have the opportunity to become a cook's apprentice when they sign on with our chef and the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.
